We were friends at St. Barts and our mums worked together. I have wondered, had social media existed in our youth, would we have grown up together despite you moving to live with your aunt during primary school? We later reconnected on FB but so much time had passed. I watched your fantastic adventures from afar, admired your dignified fight until the end, and fondly remember the lovely and kind spirited girl I knew all those years ago. I have a photo of us headbanging in a tent in my parent's garden. Glad to see you touched so many others with your awesome sense of humour! RIP Emily. My love to your friends and family. xxx
